Meet Dr. Beth Harrington

bethBeth Painter Harrington, Ph.D., L.P. is a Forensic and Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Eagan, Minnesota. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 1988, and practiced in Los Angeles before relocating to Minnesota in 1993.

Dr. Harrington specializes in family court assessment, dispute resolution, and consultation. She conducts custody and parenting time evaluations, early neutral evaluations, and provides Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services as a Mediator, Parenting Time Expeditor, and Parenting Consultant.

Dr. Harrington has provided training for guardians ad litem and custody evaluators in Dakota, Hennepin, and surrounding counties. She has presented to legal and psychological organizations on family court issues including shared parenting, developmentally based parenting plans, and professional ethics.

She is a long-time member of the Minnesota Psychological Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and is Past President of the recently formed Minnesota Chapter of the AFCC.
